Tennis Court Hire

Tennis Court Hire

Members can access Cooper Park Tennis Centre in Woollahra. There are four courts at the facility that Stadium Club members have access to, and the Sydney Lawn Tennis Club has relocated there. Bookings can be organised directly through Cooper Park and members can scan their card upon arrival.

Please note: Members need to use their card number and not their membership number to book for tennis.

This was the only way the Stadium Club could manage the process so that guest and club card holders can also make bookings, as the member number is not on the guest/club cards. The card number is located near the barcode on each membership card.

Lessons with coach Lisa O'Neill are available at Bondi Tennis Centre. For more information contact her on 0412 118 511

Moving toward a better you

My approach consists of gaining a holistic view of an individual’s prior injuries and vulnerabilities and incorporating this with my understanding of biomechanics (i.e. body movement) to deliver safe exercise sessions. My lived experience training and competing as a pole-vaulter at a national level with the support of gymnastics training allows me to create the best progression of exercises that each unique individual needs to enhance their range of motion, balance, flexibility, coordination, and strength – proponents of a healthy and strong body.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is the Stadium Club protecting members and staff?
    • At the Stadium Club, the safety of our members and staff is our No.1 priority. We have put an extensive range of protective and safety measures in place. These include increased cleaning practices, temperature checks, hygiene stations, stringent social distancing guidelines, a strict “no towel, no card, no train” policy and closure of non-essential areas. Gym capacity has been capped in line with NSW Government protocols.

  • What about inside the Stadium Club itself?
    • Social distancing is a requirement of any visit to the Stadium Club. There are floor markings, screens and some machines are off limits until further notice. The group fitness schedule has also been adjusted to limit people movements outside the gym. The fitness studio has 10 numbered boxes for participants in classes. The Stadium Club will not provide mats or towels at this stage. Please bring your own equipment.

  • What areas of the gym are closed?
    • All non-essential areas of the gym remain closed. This includes change rooms facilities such as lockers, showers, hair dryers/straighteners and scales. Lockers in the change rooms will not be in use. Please bring only essential items with you, your towel, water bottle and exercise mat. The Stadium Club will not be providing mats and towels during this phase of opening.

  • Do I need to book in to use the Stadium Club gym or attend a scheduled class?
    • Yes, all Stadium Club members and their guests must book to use the gym or attend a class. This step is mandated by the government health authorities. If you don’t book, you can’t use the gym. Members and guests must also sign-in on arrival at the gym with a Stadium Club staff member. Remember your membership card. No card or no booking equals no entry.

  • How do I book to use the gym?
    • There is a new booking process, via this website, which allows you to book a time slot at the gym, or a place in one of the classes. New users must create a profile on the website before making a booking. Members who would like to use the gym only should book the ‘Open Gym’ option at the time of booking.

  • I’m a guest of a Stadium Club member. Do I still need to book online?
    • Yes, all guests must book a time slot to use the gym or attend a class. Guests can create a profile on the booking website and must bring a membership card with them. No card or no booking equals no entry.

  • I’ve made a booking to use the Stadium Club gym or attend a class. What time should I arrive and what should I expect when arriving at the Stadium Club?
    • Please arrive at the Stadium Club five minutes before your time slot. Members may have to queue on arrival and we ask that you practise social distancing. Members will be required to present photo ID that matches the name of the online booking and pass a temperature check (temperature below 37.5oC). Once you’re checked in, the main entrance doors will open and you will be allowed to proceed through the turnstiles to enter the gym. Please ensure you have your member card or member guest card ready at point of arrival.

  • What happens if I fail my temperature check?
    •  Users who fail their first temperature check will be required to wait 15 minutes before presenting for a second check. If again the member or guest's temperature is above 37.5oC, entry to the gym will not be permitted. A failed temperature check will not count as a 'no-show'.

  • What are the new procedures for group exercise classes?
    • The capacity of group exercise classes will be capped at 10 in line with health protocols. All group exercise classes are a maximum of 45 minutes. In addition, class times will be spaced at least 15 minutes apart to allow for cleaning and sanitisation. On arrival, please avoid congregating around the group fitness studio entry.
  • What do I need to bring?
    • Bring your member card and the things you need for training or classes, such as a towel or water bottle. Bubblers are not available, but you can use the contactless filling station on the ground floor. Shower and changing facilities are not in use. Wearing a mask is your choice and not mandatory according to the Federal Government. Some of our staff may wear masks.

  • How often can I book in?
    • Members can book in for one sixty (1 x 60) minute session per day, up to a maximum of four separate visits per week.

  • The booking session I would like to attend is full. Is there a waitlist option?
    • If your preferred booking time is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. There is a waitlist for every session. If an allocation becomes available, you will be notified via email. Users are encouraged to book at an alternate time as oppose to join the waitlist.

  • If I’ve booked into a class, can I use the gym afterwards?
    • Yes, you can use the gym after a group exercise class and up until the hour of your booking. You do not need to book in under an ‘open gym’ session as your group fitness / class booking will allow access.

  • How far in advance can I book in?
    • Users can book their sessions up to three (3) days in advance.

  • I can no longer make my session, can I cancel?
    • Please cancel at least two hours prior to your time slot to give us the chance to give your spot to another member. To ensure that booking times are not wasted, ‘no-shows’ will be tracked, and further action may be taken.

  • Can I change my session time?
    • Please cancel your existing booking first through the online system and then select a new time slot.

  • Are child minding services on offer and how can I book?
    • Bookings can be made by calling reception on 02 9380 0102 Child minding services will resume on Monday, June 15. Time slots have changed to 60 minutes in duration to allow for cleaning and sanitisation between sessions.

  • How do I park?
    • Wilson Parking (Entertainment Quarter) offers two hours of free parking during the day, which offers plenty of time to visit the Stadium Club and the broader precinct. Users can validate parking tickets at reception if required.

  • What about contact tracing?
    • Members and guests must sign in before all sessions. You will be asked to provide basic details, including name and a contact number, as well as your membership card. This will allow us to trace when you have entered and left the club, should the data be required by the Department of Health. We also encourage all members to download the Government’s COVIDSafe app and have it switched on during visits to the Stadium Club.
