Health and safety management system

The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust’s core values of Health and Safety are reflected in every plan and action. The standards are practically applied through a Safety Management Framework and supported through all levels of the organisation.

The SCG place the highest importance on safety of our entire workforce whether they are employees, contractors, subcontractors, tenants, partners, members or the general public who visit the precinct.

The SCG recognise a commitment to safety can only be achieved through regular consultation, co-operation and coordination with all stakeholders.

Contractors and subcontractors

The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust has an online site safety induction that is specific to the precinct's operations.

All contractors and sub-contractors engaged for works within the precinct must comply with safety and security requirements. Work on site cannot commence until all safety requirements have been met, liaise with your SCG prior to commencing work on site.

Incident reporting

Reporting of incidents is mandatory for all employees, hirers, contractors and sub-contractors of the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust. All incidents, hazards or near misses must be reported via Reporting System (below) within 24 hours of occurring.
